Why Polyurethane

The finish that justifies the investment.

Polyurethane delivers the high-gloss premium look that machinery manufacturers, equipment builders and fabricators specify because they know it performs — outlasting alkyds and acrylics by years.

85–90 GU. Looks premium, stays premium.

Durability

10+ years outdoor without yellowing or chalking.

Chemical Resistance

Resists oils, solvents, fuels and mild acids.

Faster Drying

Hard dry in 16 hrs — quicker turnaround.

How to Specify

Outdoor high-visibility equipment → HARDTOP XP (aliphatic). Indoor machinery → HARDTOP AX. Flexible substrates → HARDTOP FLEXI. Budget-conscious → OPTIPRO. Satin finish → HARDTOP HB. We'll specify the right one for your job.

FAQ

Choosing the right topcoat.

Durability, chemical resistance and gloss retention. Alkyds yellow and chalk outdoors — polyurethane maintains its finish for 10+ years. Alkyds are cheaper upfront but need recoating sooner. Total cost of ownership favours polyurethane.
