What Hardtop XP is for
Hardtop XP is a two-component, aliphatic acrylic polyurethane. Like Hardtop AX it is aliphatic. It is a high-solids glossy topcoat with very good gloss retention, formulated to minimise dry spray during application.
It is widely used in pre-qualified offshore and industrial systems, including NORSOK systems, over compatible epoxy coats.
Typical applications
- Topcoat for refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings and industrial structures
- Systems where low dry spray matters, such as large spray-applied areas
- Pre-qualified NORSOK systems, as specified
Limitations to check
- Atmospheric topcoat over compatible coatings only.
- Hardtop XP Alu and Hardtop XP II are separately named products with their own data sheets. Don't substitute one for another.
- Peak heat is limited to one hour, and appearance may change at elevated temperatures.
