What Hardtop Flexi is for
Hardtop Flexi is a two-component, aliphatic acrylic polyurethane. It is a fast-drying, high-solids, high-build glossy coating with high flexibility, impact resistance and strong adhesion.
It can be applied direct to metal, subject to the preparation requirements in the TDS, or over a suitable coating system. That makes it useful where the schedule calls for fewer coats.
Typical applications
- Direct-to-metal or over suitable systems on industrial structures
- Refineries, power plants, bridges and buildings
- Areas that need impact resistance and flexibility
Limitations to check
- Atmospheric service only.
- Gloss varies with application method, and bright colours may need a higher DFT.
- Peak heat is limited to one hour, and appearance may change at elevated temperatures.
