What Pioner Topcoat is for
Pioner Topcoat is a one-component, physically drying acrylic. It is not an alkyd. It is a fast-drying, semi-gloss topcoat with good gloss retention, for marine atmospheric and industrial use over compatible coatings.
Being single-pack and quick to touch dry, it suits maintenance painting where downtime has to stay short. It is MCI-tintable.
Typical applications
- Topcoat over compatible coated surfaces in atmospheric exposure
- Industrial maintenance where fast touch-dry matters
Limitations to check
- Atmospheric service, with dry heat up to 60 °C continuous only.
- The film softens as temperature rises, so plan handling and stacking accordingly.
- Semi-gloss (35–70 GU). For long-life high-gloss finishes, look at Hardtop polyurethanes.
